Khindsi Lake, located 55 km from Nagpur, offers water sports and stunning sunset views. Created in 1840 by Maharaja Mudhoji II Bhonsle, it is Central India's biggest boating center. Activities include pedal boating, motor boating, and rowing. The serene setting, with a cool evening breeze, provides a relaxing escape from city life.
During my year in Nagpur, I discovered a peaceful city with abundant greenery and minimal traffic. Famous for its lakes and British-era buildings, some key places include Telankhedi Temple, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur Cricket Stadium, Futala Lake, and Narrow Gauge Museum. The city offers tranquil spots like Gorewada Lake and Seminary Hills.
